Diversity and representation in STEM with Letitia Wright & special guests

We know that STEM is still a sector where women are the minority – according to The Office for National Statistics Labour Force women make up just 24% of the STEM workforce. But it’s not just a problem about women - there is a lack of diversity across the board which we are going to be addressing today.

Today we are joined by Black Panther star and STEM advocate Letitia Wright, Julie Adenuga, Dr Anne-Marie Imafidon, Dr Maggie Aderin-Pocock and Vanessa Sanyauke. Thanks to our friends at The Science Museum for kindly hosting this special event brought to you by The Female Lead.

At The Female Lead, we want to make sure every child has access to positive female role models. If you want to read and share the stories of 67 remarkable women from around the world, you can purchase our NEW BOOK, or nominate a school to receive a copy for free.
